Gaza Bleeds, Health System in Freefall Amid Relentless Israeli Genocide

Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Health Ministry has issued an urgent call for blood donations as hospitals collapse under the weight of Israel’s ongoing genocide, with the killing toll now surpassing 65,344 killed and 166,795 wounded since October 7, 2023.

The ministry warned that rare blood types, particularly O-negative, are running critically low, leaving thousands of patients at risk of dying for lack of transfusions.

In the past 24 hours alone, Israeli attacks killed 61 Palestinians and wounded 220 more, with medics unable to reach countless others still buried beneath rubble and stranded on roads targeted by shelling. Since March 18, 2025, Gaza has endured 12,590 new killed and nearly 54,000 injuries, underscoring the staggering pace of civilian slaughter. Among the victims are more than 2,523 Palestinians killed while waiting for food aid, as Israel continues to bomb and starve the besieged enclave into submission.

The Health Ministry said plainly: “Every drop of blood is a lifeline. For thousands caught between life and death, your donation could mean survival.”
