Gaza Herald – Israeli air and ground assaults intensified across Gaza on Tuesday, killing at least 54 Palestinians since midnight, according to hospital officials.
In Gaza City, Israeli forces pushed deeper into residential districts from multiple directions, leaving large parts of the city in ruins and uninhabitable. Airstrikes and artillery fire struck homes, schools, and makeshift shelters in the western neighborhoods, where many displaced families had recently sought refuge.
Medical sources reported catastrophic losses: 35 victims were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital, 4 to Sheikh Radwan Clinic, 9 to Al-Awda Hospital, 1 to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, and 5 to Nasser Hospital. No casualties were recorded at Al-Ma’madani Hospital.
The attacks have forced civilians into an impossible dilemma: leave their homes for southern Gaza, where overcrowding and relentless bombardment persist, or remain in devastated neighborhoods with no guarantee of survival. Families across Gaza City say they see no safe haven anywhere in the enclave.
