Gaza Herald – Israeli warplanes and artillery launched a wave of overnight strikes on neighborhoods and refugee camps across the Gaza Strip, leaving dozens dead and wounded, most of them women and children, according to hospital sources.
In Gaza City, airstrikes flattened homes in Al-Shati camp belonging to the Murad, Abu Murad, and Kahlout families, killing a mother, her child, and her unborn baby. Strikes also hit near Al-Majadleh Mosque, the Friendship Club, and Al-Qouqa roundabout, where more casualties were reported.
On Al-Nafaq Street in central Gaza, tents sheltering displaced families near Hira Mosque were bombed, killing at least five and injuring dozens. Civil Defense teams said they recovered bodies and survivors from the wreckage. Another strike hit a tent inside the walls of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, endangering patients’ lives.
In Al-Bureij camp, several members of the Jabr family were killed, including Yusuf Jabr, his wife, and daughter, while one injured child survived as the “sole survivor” of the family. In Sheikh Redwan, strikes on the Dabash family home left four dead, while explosive-laden robots were detonated in residential areas of Jabalia and nearby districts.
Hospital officials said at least 17 Palestinians were confirmed killed since dawn. At the same time, the Ministry of Health reported that the overall death toll since the war began in October 2023 has risen to 63,459, with more than 160,256 wounded.
