Gaza Herald- Gaza residents endured a deadly night as Israeli air and artillery strikes battered neighborhoods across the Strip. Explosions from drones and explosive-laden devices shook residential districts in northern and eastern Gaza City, including Jabalia and Zeitoun, leaving dozens dead and injured.
Strikes hit civilian homes in Sabra, Zeitoun, and Rimal, as well as the vicinity of Al-Karama Hospital in northern Gaza City. Among the victims was two-year-old Youssef Bakron, who lost his siblings and grandfather and now faces the risk of leg amputation from severe injuries. A baby girl from the Kaheel family was also wounded when their home in Al-Karama was bombed.
In Khan Younis, Israeli jets carried out multiple raids on the Mawasi and Asdaa areas, striking tents near Al-Matar Mosque and killing several displaced people, including women and children. In central Gaza, airstrikes east of Deir al-Balah killed three men from an aid security team. Meanwhile, massive explosions in Jabalia al-Balad and Al-Nazla leveled homes, where rescue crews recovered three bodies and pulled a child alive from the rubble of the Kaheel family’s house.
Overnight shelling also targeted Shujaiya, Al-Tuffah, and Zeitoun, while Israeli forces opened heavy machine-gun fire on residential areas in Jabalia and Khan Younis. On Gaza’s beaches, hundreds of displaced families sought shelter from the bombardment, as hospitals reported increasing cases of suffocation linked to unidentified gases alongside rising child malnutrition. The assault left dozens dead and wounded, with more victims feared trapped beneath the debris.
