Gaza Herald- The Hamas Movement released a statement urging the global community, including Arab and Muslim nations, to unite and take action against the Israeli occupation. The call aims to protect the Palestinian population in Gaza and condemn the deliberate starvation imposed on over two million residents in the besieged territory.
The statement characterized this mobilization as a response to the ongoing genocide and starvation campaign carried out by the fascist occupation regime and its Zionist-Nazi military forces against the people of Gaza. It denounced the escalating, blatant violations of human rights, ethical principles, and sacred laws through an unprecedented and brutal assault, all while the international community remains silent, inactive, and unable to halt the aggression or end the campaign of genocide and starvation.
Hamas reiterated its demand for a global movement featuring large-scale protests, solidarity activities, and loud voices, employing political, diplomatic, parliamentary, labor, and student pressures worldwide in support of Gaza.
The statement further called for Sunday, July 20, and the subsequent days to become landmark moments of international solidarity, with free peoples and organizations everywhere standing together to expose and condemn the ongoing genocidal acts targeting innocent civilians, children, women, and the sick alike.
Additionally, Hamas stressed the importance of coordinated Arab and international efforts and a unified stance to support Gaza and hold the occupation accountable for its blatant violations of international humanitarian law, global treaties, and fundamental human rights.
