Gaza Herald – A Palestinian man was killed and another seriously injured early Tuesday morning following an Israeli airstrike targeting Gaza City.
Local sources reported that an Israeli drone carried out a strike near the intersection of Al-Jalaa and Al-Oyoun streets, wounding two civilians before one of them was later pronounced dead.
In a separate development, Israeli artillery shelled areas sheltering displaced people in the southern Gaza Strip, as military escalation continues despite the ceasefire agreement.
Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the truce through repeated air and artillery strikes targeting various locations, including displacement sites, in addition to demolition operations within what is referred to as the “yellow line,” alongside ongoing restrictions on the entry of goods, humanitarian aid, and movement.
According to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire began on October 10 has risen to 834, with 2,345 injuries and 767 bodies recovered.
The overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has reached approximately 72,614 fatalities, with 172,448 injuries, underscoring the heavy human toll of the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
