Gaza Herald – At least one Palestinian was killed and several others injured on Monday following a series of Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, as violations of the ceasefire agreement continue.
A local source reported that Anas Khaled Safi was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. In a separate incident, multiple civilians were injured after an Israeli strike hit the Abu Hamid roundabout area in Khan Younis earlier in the day.
Israeli military vehicles also opened fire east of Khan Younis, while additional injuries were reported after an Israeli strike targeted a group of civilians near the “Roundabout 17” area west of Gaza City.
Since October 10, Israeli occupation forces have continued to breach the ceasefire agreement through ongoing air and artillery strikes targeting civilian areas, including locations sheltering displaced people. These actions have also included demolition operations within what is known as the “yellow line,” alongside continued restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the death toll since the ceasefire began has risen to 777 killed and 2,171 injured, with 761 bodies recovered. Meanwhile, the overall toll since October 7, 2023, has reached 72,553 killed and 172,274 injured, highlighting the continued human cost of the Israeli war in Gaza.
