Three Palestinians Killed in Israeli Strike in Deir al-Balah

Gaza Herald – Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured early Monday morning following an Israeli drone strike targeting a group of civilians in Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.

According to medical sources, the attack occurred near Site 14, close to Al-Mazra’a School. The victims were identified as Mohammed Younis Al-Adini (23), Al-Muntasir Ezz El-Din Bashir (23), and Mohammed Hassan Abu Al-Rous (32).

In a separate incident, four Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire near Al-Halabi roundabout in Jabalia, in northern Gaza. Israeli artillery also shelled areas west of Rafah, eastern Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, and eastern Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip.

Local sources reported that a 48-year-old man was killed on Sunday by Israeli fire near the intersection of Street 5 and Salah al-Din Street in Khan Younis.

These incidents come amid continued violations of the ceasefire agreement, with Israeli occupation forces carrying out near-daily attacks, including artillery shelling, drone strikes, and live fire targeting civilian gatherings and displacement centers across Gaza.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect in October has risen to 754, with more than 2,090 others injured. The overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has reached over 72,333, with 171,192 wounded, reflecting the ongoing humanitarian crisis and the severe impact of continued hostilities.
