Gaza Herald– One Palestinian was killed, and several others were injured on Saturday morning after Israeli forces opened fire east of Gaza City, amid continued violations of the ceasefire.
A local source reported that Fahmi Qaddoum was killed by Israeli gunfire east of Gaza City, while others were wounded, including one in critical condition.
According to witnesses, Israeli helicopters and tanks opened fire, accompanied by artillery shelling targeting the eastern areas of the al-Tuffah neighbourhood in Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles fired heavily east and south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Since October 10, Israeli forces have continued to violate the ceasefire through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire across various parts of Gaza.
According to a daily statistical report on ceasefire violations, a total of 692 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire began, including 202 children, 83 women, and 21 elderly people, while more than 1,876 others have been injured.
This brings the overall death toll since October 7, 2023, to more than 72,268 killed and 171,976 injured.
