Gaza Herald – The World Health Organization (WHO) warned that Israeli restrictions at the Kerem Abu Salem crossing continue to obstruct the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, with no medical supplies or medicines allowed entry, while only fuel shipments were permitted.
WHO teams had positioned shipments at the crossing, including roughly 50 intensive care beds and 170 consignments of essential medicines, but were prevented from collecting them. According to the weekly schedule, no aid will be offloaded at the crossing on Saturday or Sunday.
The agency emphasized that Kerem Abu Salem remains the only crossing open into Gaza since the start of the regional escalation. Daily communications with Israeli authorities are ongoing to secure access for critical humanitarian supplies to meet the urgent needs of the people of Gaza.
