Gaza Herald- An Israeli airstrike on Wednesday evening heavily damaged a civilian building in the western part of Gaza City, while also setting nearby tents used by displaced families on fire.
Medical and local sources reported that the airstrike directly targeted the building, causing extensive destruction and severe damage to surrounding properties. The fire quickly spread to several tents in the vicinity, prompting panic among Palestinians, particularly women and children.
Local residents, alongside civil defense teams, attempted to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to additional tents, despite limited firefighting resources and the harsh conditions in the Strip.
Sources confirmed that no casualties have been reported so far. Israeli warplanes continued to patrol the area, raising concerns about further attacks.
This incident is part of a continuing series of Israeli airstrikes across Gaza, which have caused widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure, compounding the suffering of civilians amid ongoing genocide and blockade.
