Israeli Artillery and Gunfire Target Eastern Gaza

Gaza Herald – Israeli forces carried out artillery shelling and gunfire across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip on Monday morning, continuing their persistent breaches of the fragile ceasefire.

Reports indicate that Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Gaza City, while artillery units shelled eastern Khan Younis in the south and northern districts of the Strip.

Israeli tanks also fired heavily near Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, and the eastern neighborhoods of Shejaiya were targeted.

These attacks come amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, which has been in effect since October 10, 2025.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, approximately 629 Palestinians have been killed, 1,693 injured, and 735 victims have been recovered from under the rubble of destroyed homes.
