Gaza Herald – The Gaza Government Media Office reported that Israeli authorities continued to block the entry of essential humanitarian supplies, in violation of the October 10 truce and international humanitarian law. Tents, mobile homes, caravans, and other shelter materials were prevented from reaching displaced families, leaving thousands exposed to harsh winter conditions.
Over the 73 days since the ceasefire, only 17,819 trucks entered Gaza out of the 43,800 approved, averaging just 244 trucks per day, well below the 600 daily shipments guaranteed under the agreement. The Government Media Office said this compliance rate of roughly 41 percent has worsened the humanitarian crisis.
The blockade caused severe shortages of food, medicine, water, and fuel across the territory. The media office warned that the continued restrictions put civilians at heightened risk of disease, malnutrition, and exposure, emphasizing the urgent need for Israel to respect the ceasefire terms and allow unhindered aid delivery.
