Israeli Forces Push Into Jabalia Camp Under Heavy Fire

Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces advanced with military vehicles into the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza late Sunday, opening heavy gunfire and launching artillery shells as the incursion unfolded, according to local reports.

Residents said Israeli armored units fired intensively toward the central areas of the camp, while artillery bombardment struck surrounding neighborhoods. Earlier the same evening, occupation forces had also opened live fire east of Jabalia, with shelling reported across multiple locations in northern Gaza.

The escalation came hours after new Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, which Palestinian sources said killed four civilians and wounded others. Israeli forces have continued air and artillery attacks across the Gaza Strip, in what Palestinians describe as an ongoing breach of the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025.
