Gaza Herald – The Health Ministry in Gaza released new figures on Monday, confirming nine more bodies recovered and one additional injury in the past 24 hours, as families continue pulling their loved ones from beneath the rubble left by Israel’s ongoing genocide.
Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, Israel has killed 356 Palestinians and injured 909, while 616 bodies have been recovered from earlier attack, many from homes that were flattened with families still inside.
The cumulative toll of Israel’s assault since October 7, 2023 has now climbed to 70,112 killed and 170,986 injured, overwhelmingly women and children. Gaza’s health authorities warn that thousands more remain missing beneath the ruins, with recovery efforts crippled by Israel’s ban on heavy rescue equipment.
