Gaza Herald – Israeli forces have carried out a relentless series of assaults across the Gaza Strip since violating the ceasefire on Wednesday, continuing into the early hours of Thursday. The attacks have left at least 25 Palestinians killed and more than 77 wounded, as warplanes, drones, artillery, and tanks struck densely populated neighborhoods from Gaza City to Khan Younis.
In eastern Gaza City, Israeli gunfire killed one Palestinian near al-Shujaiya junction, while a strike on the Awqaf building near Asqoula killed six, including a woman and a child. In southern Gaza, three Palestinians were killed when Israeli warplanes bombed the UNRWA Club in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis. Israeli quadcopter drones also attacked tents sheltering displaced families, wounding at least five civilians.
Throughout Wednesday night and into Thursday morning, Israeli forces intensified fire from tanks and naval vessels, detonated explosive ground robots in al-Tuffah and al-Shaaf, and launched drone and air strikes on eastern neighborhoods including al-Sanafor and al-Shaaf. A booby-trapped drone also exploded above a commercial building near Palestine Square in central Gaza.
Civil Defense teams in Khan Younis recovered the bodies of Palestinians from Abu Sabit and Sahmoud families after a strike in Bani Suheila, where at least three were killed, including the child Rozan Mohammed Abu Sabit, and 15 others wounded. As the attacks spread across Gaza and Khan Younis, the death toll since Wednesday climbed to 25 Palestinians, with dozens more injured.
Israeli forces also expanded the so-called “yellow line” inside al-Shujaiya by pushing concrete blocks deeper into residential zones, turning new neighborhoods into military areas overnight, a continuation of the genocide that has killed 69,483 Palestinians and wounded 170,706 since 2023.
