Gaza Herald – Health officials at Nasser Medical Complex confirmed that 58,000 children have been registered as orphans since Israel began its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
These are children who lost one or both parents under the bombing, starvation siege, and displacement that continue despite the so-called ceasefire.
Humanitarian workers warn that this represents one of the largest waves of orphaning in modern history, with thousands of children now living in tents, damaged schools, and overcrowded shelters, facing winter, trauma, and hunger with no protection.
The Ministry of Health says the world’s silence has turned Gaza’s children into the witnesses, and survivors, of a crime unfolding in daylight.
