Gaza Herald – Israeli forces have once again violated the ceasefire agreement, launching airstrikes and carrying out explosive demolition operations across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip early Monday.
Warplanes and artillery targeted neighborhoods in Rafah and eastern Khan Younis, while drones opened fire in eastern Gaza City, signaling a continuation of Israel’s systematic assault despite declared truce conditions.
Residents in eastern Gaza reported several explosions as Israeli units detonated residential buildings, turning entire blocks into rubble. In northern Gaza, flares lit up the skies over Beit Lahiya as artillery shells struck nearby farmland and civilian shelters, while eastern Deir al-Balah in central Gaza also came under attack.
These attacks follow last week’s mass bombardment that killed 110 Palestinians, including 46 children, marking one of the bloodiest violations since the ceasefire took effect. Gaza’s Government Media Office reported 194 Israeli breaches of the agreement to date, reflecting a pattern of ongoing aggression under the cover of international silence.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that the ongoing genocide has resulted in 68,865 Palestinians killed and 170,670 injured since October 7, 2023, numbers that continue to rise as Israel maintains control of nearly half of Gaza’s territory and enforces displacement and destruction policies.
