Thousands Still Missing in Gaza Two Years Into Israel’s Genocidal Campaign

Gaza Herald – The Palestinian Center for the Missing and Forcibly Disappeared reports that, two years after Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza, the tragedy of the missing continues to grow.

According to the Center, between 8,000 and 9,000 Palestinians remain unaccounted for or forcibly disappeared, while around 5,000 official reports have been filed by families desperately searching for their loved ones.

The Center says thousands of Palestinian families continue to scour the rubble, cemeteries, and prisons with no credible information about the fate of their relatives.

It warned that the absence of transparency and access to detainees is deepening the humanitarian catastrophe, leaving an entire generation living between loss and silence.
