Gaza Herald – At least 10 Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured after an Israeli airstrike hit a food distribution point in Al-Mawasi, Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis. Rescue teams continue to search for the missing, fearing the killed toll may rise. The strike underscores the relentless brutality of Israel’s campaign against civilians in Gaza.
Al-Mawasi has long been designated by Israel as a so-called “safe humanitarian zone,” intended as a refuge for displaced families. Yet even this supposed sanctuary has not been spared, exposing the lie of safety and highlighting the calculated nature of Israel’s genocidal operations.
The targeted site was a food hub providing essential meals for families starving under the Israeli siege. People had gathered for sustenance, only to be met with death from above. This deliberate targeting of aid underscores a systematic strategy of starvation and deprivation, using hunger as a weapon of war.
The repeated strikes on food distribution centers and humanitarian zones are not isolated incidents; they reveal a consistent campaign to dismantle Gaza’s survival infrastructure. Such actions blatantly violate international law and amount to an organized policy of genocide against the Palestinian population.
