Gaza Herald – A three-year-old girl, Habeeba Abu Shaar, has died “due to malnutrition and lack of treatment” in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis, a source at Nasser Hospital confirmed.
The death underscores the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, where children are starving amid the ongoing blockade, relentless airstrikes, and collapsing medical services. Families are trapped with no access to sufficient food, clean water, or medical care, leaving the most vulnerable to suffer and die.
According to the Gaza Government Media Office, more than 420 Palestinians have now died from famine and malnutrition, highlighting the devastating scale of the catastrophe. This comes at a time when over 2.4 million residents are enduring dire conditions, with shortages of basic necessities and rising death rates among children and the elderly.
