Hospitals in Gaza are stretched to their limits as they cope with the influx of casualties from the latest Israeli shelling.
Among the 87 individuals killed, four were found under the rubble, highlighting the devastating impact of the attacks on civilian areas.
The ministry also reported that the total number of deaths of malnutrition has reached 387, with children making up 138 of these fatalities.
Since the official declaration of famine status by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) on August 22, there have been 109 documented deaths due to malnutrition, including 23 children, underscoring the severe food insecurity in the region.
Moreover, Israeli forces killed 31 people among the starving who were seeking food in the aid distribution points in the last 24 hours, individuals who were struggling to provide for their families amidst the Israeli war.
Total Death Toll Increasing
This brings the total number of starving deaths to 2,416, with over 17,709 injuries recorded since the start of the aggression.
Since October 2023, the Israeli genocide has resulted in a staggering 64,368 deaths and 162,776 injuries in Gaza. From March 18, 2025, to the present, 11,911 deaths and 50,735 injuries have been reported, further highlighting the ongoing humanitarian disaster.
The Ministry of Health has issued a call for urgent international intervention, emphasizing that the continued siege and lack of essential services are exacerbating the plight of civilians, particularly affecting vulnerable groups such as children and the sick.
The ministry urges immediate action to halt the Israeli genocide, protect civilians, and open humanitarian corridors to provide much-needed aid and relief.
