Gaza Herald – Israeli warplanes struck a tent sheltering displaced families inside the walls of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza on Monday, the Government Media Office said. The attack, which hit near the hospital’s outpatient clinic, caused injuries, material damage, and directly endangered patients inside.
According to the Media Office, this marks the 14th time since January 2024 that the hospital has been targeted. Officials condemned the repeated strikes as part of a systematic assault on Gaza’s health system and a clear violation of international law.
The statement urged the United Nations and international humanitarian organizations to intervene immediately to protect medical facilities and staff in the Gaza Strip.
