Palestinian Dies From Israeli Gunfire as Artillery Shelling and Heavy Shooting Continue Across Gaza

Gaza Herald— A Palestinian man died Sunday morning from wounds sustained in Israeli gunfire in central Gaza, as Israeli occupation forces intensified artillery shelling and heavy shooting across several areas of the Gaza Strip, in continued violations of the ceasefire agreement.

The Palestinian Information Center reported that Ibrahim Adel Saeed died from injuries sustained several days earlier when Israeli forces opened fire in the village of al-Masdar in central Gaza.

Israeli Tanks Open Heavy Fire Across Khan Younis

In southern Gaza, Israeli tanks opened heavy fire toward areas south and east of Khan Younis, while artillery shelling resumed in the city’s eastern neighborhoods.

Israeli military vehicles also fired toward Hamad City and the surrounding displacement tents north of Khan Younis.

Gunfire from Israeli tanks positioned near Salah al-Din Road reached central and western parts of the city, expanding the areas exposed to Israeli fire.

Sustained Gunfire Near Kamal Adwan Hospital

In northern Gaza, Israeli tanks opened heavy fire west of Beit Lahia, while shooting continued for hours in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital.

Meanwhile, Israeli drones and reconnaissance aircraft flew at low altitude over southern and eastern Khan Younis.

Ceasefire Violations Continue

The Israeli military continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, which has been in effect since October 2025.

According to multiple reports, Israeli forces have killed 1,580 Palestinians since the ceasefire took effect, while hundreds of others have been injured.

The continued shelling, gunfire and military activity have heightened fears among Palestinians already struggling with widespread displacement and devastating humanitarian conditions across the Gaza Strip.
