Two Killed In Israeli Airstrikes And Shelling Across Gaza Strip

Gaza Herald – Palestinian news agency Wafa reported on Tuesday that an Israeli airstrike killed a man and his wife. The attack targeted a residential apartment located near the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in western Gaza City, causing fires to break out within the building.

Simultaneously, Israeli artillery shelled eastern areas of Gaza City. The bombardment focused specifically on the eastern sections of the Tuffah neighborhood. This came as heavy gunfire was exchanged from Israeli military vehicles operating within the same district.

In southern Gaza, Wafa correspondents confirmed that the Israeli army carried out two major demolition operations. These actions took place east of Khan Younis city and in its southern vicinity, destroying structures in the area.

Maritime tensions also escalated off the coast of Gaza City. Israeli naval boats engaged in intense firing along the seafront, adding to the widespread violence affecting the coastal strip.

The incidents contribute to a rising toll of casualties across the territory. Reports indicate that six individuals have been killed due to direct fire from occupation forces and the destruction of homes throughout the sector.

These events highlight the continuous pressure exerted by Israeli military units across multiple fronts. Ground forces remain active in urban centers while air and naval assets conduct strikes in adjacent zones.
