Gaza Herald – A Palestinian child, Ahmad Ramzi Aqel, succumbed on Thursday evening to wounds sustained after Israeli forces opened fire on a displacement camp in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, as Israeli violations of the ceasefire continue.
According to local sources, Ahmad succumbed to his injuries after being shot while Palestinians sheltering in the camp remained exposed to Israeli gunfire.
Gaza’s Ministry of Health said that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, at least 1,273 Palestinians have been killed and 4,223 injured, while the bodies of 813 Palestinians have been recovered.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s genocide on Gaza has killed at least 73,407 Palestinians, according to the ministry.
The ministry has warned that victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and on roads as rescue and civil defense teams continue to face severe difficulties reaching affected areas amid ongoing Israeli attacks.
