Gaza Herald – Israeli forces renewed artillery shelling and opened fire across several areas of the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, in another series of reported violations of the ceasefire.
Israeli artillery struck eastern and northeastern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, while Israeli tanks fired shells and guns toward western Beit Lahia in the north.
In Gaza City, Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of the city, accompanied by artillery strikes on eastern areas. Heavy tank fire was also reported in the eastern Tuffah neighborhood, while Israeli naval forces fired shells and gunfire toward Gaza City’s coastline.
In Khan Younis, Israeli artillery reportedly struck areas northeast of the city as tanks opened intensive fire toward its eastern outskirts.
According to Palestinian Health Ministry figures, 1,258 Palestinians have been killed and 4,145 injured since the ceasefire was announced on October 10, with 807 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble.
Since October 7, 2023, Gaza’s death toll has reached 73,386 Palestinians, with 174,256 injuries, reflecting the immense human cost of Israel’s ongoing attacks and continued violations of the ceasefire.
