Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire on Friday, launching artillery shelling, opening live fire, and carrying out ground incursions in multiple areas across the northern, central, and southern Gaza Strip, according to local sources.
Israeli artillery fired several shells northwest of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, while two Palestinians were reportedly wounded after Israeli forces opened fire near Halawa Camp, north of the Strip.
Heavy tank fire was also reported east of Jabalia, accompanied by artillery strikes targeting the vicinity of Al-Sahwa area inside Jabalia refugee camp. Israeli forces additionally shelled areas surrounding Kamal Adwan Hospital, while further artillery attacks struck northeastern Gaza City.
In central Gaza, Israeli military vehicles advanced southeast of Deir al-Balah, carrying out bulldozing operations inside the area.
Separate incursions were also reported near Al-Shakoush area, north of Rafah, where Israeli armored vehicles conducted land-clearing operations as tanks fired intensively near Al-Tina Street, with renewed heavy gunfire reported throughout the area.
Israeli forces have continued carrying out repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement through artillery bombardment, airstrikes, live fire directed toward displaced civilians, demolition operations inside the so-called “Yellow Line” buffer zone, and ongoing restrictions on humanitarian aid, commercial goods, and civilian movement into and out of Gaza.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, Israeli attacks since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, have killed 1,256 Palestinians and wounded 4,125 others, while 806 bodies have also been recovered from beneath the rubble.
Since the beginning of the Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023, the overall death toll in Gaza has risen to 73,382 Palestinians, with 174,236 people injured, according to the ministry’s latest figures.
