Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire agreement across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, carrying out artillery shelling, gunfire, demolitions, and bulldozing operations in several areas of northern and southern Gaza, according to local sources.
A Palestinian civilian was wounded after being shot by Israeli forces in the Tal al-Dhahab area of Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.
Israeli forces carried out a large-scale demolition near Abu Tammam School east of Beit Lahia while firing illumination flares and heavy gunfire from military vehicles east of Jabalia. Israeli artillery also shelled Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City as tanks opened intensive fire in the area.
In southern Gaza, Israeli naval vessels fired off the coast of Khan Younis, while military vehicles opened heavy fire in Al-Mawasi area west of Rafah, where bulldozers also carried out extensive land-clearing operations.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 1,207 Palestinians have been killed and 3,914 injured since the ceasefire took effect in October 2025, in addition to 803 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble. The ministry says the overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,333, with 174,023 Palestinians injured.
