Gaza Herald – An Israeli airstrike killed a Palestinian mother and her four children early Tuesday after targeting a home in Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City, as Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire across the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, Israeli warplanes bombed the family home, killing five members of the same family, including three children. Civil Defense crews said they faced difficulties reaching the site due to intense flames engulfing the building.
Rescue teams later recovered the bodies of the mother and her four children after firefighters, with support from Gaza Municipality crews, managed to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading to neighboring homes.
Elsewhere in Gaza City, local sources reported a large explosion followed by heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles during an incursion southeast of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood. Israeli forces also opened fire east of Khan Younis, while artillery shelling struck the surrounding area.
The attacks followed another deadly Israeli strike overnight on the first floor of Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital in Jabalia refugee camp, northern Gaza, where four Palestinians were killed, including a child, according to local sources.
Israeli forces continue to violate the October 2025 ceasefire through airstrikes, artillery attacks, demolitions inside the so-called “Yellow Line,” and ongoing restrictions on the movement of Palestinians, goods, and humanitarian aid.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 1,169 Palestinians have been killed and 3,756 injured since the ceasefire took effect, while the overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,283, with 173,875 Palestinians injured.
