Gaza Herld- Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced on Monday that eight Palestinians, including one who succumbed to previous injuries, were killed and 32 others injured in the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli assault.
In a statement, the ministry said the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 has risen to 1,108, with 3,578 people injured and 800 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble.
The ministry added that the overall toll since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,231 Palestinians killed and 173,686 injured.
It also noted that an unknown number of victims remain trapped under collapsed buildings and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face difficulties reaching them.
