Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire agreement on Sunday through demolitions, artillery shelling, and live fire across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, Israeli forces carried out several detonation operations in Khan Younis, including two in the Qizan al-Najjar area and another east of the city.
Israeli tanks opened heavy fire and drones dropped explosives south of the Qizan Rashwan area.
Israeli naval vessels also fired toward the coast of Khan Younis, while artillery shelled western Rafah.
Israeli artillery additionally targeted the eastern outskirts of Al-Bureij refugee camp and eastern Gaza City.
Further detonation operations were reported in Al-Tuffah neighborhood northeast of Gaza City and east of Jabalia in northern Gaza.
Israeli forces have continued breaching the ceasefire agreement through airstrikes, artillery attacks, and the targeting of displacement areas, alongside demolition operations within the so-called “Yellow Line” and ongoing restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the death toll since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10 has risen to 1,101 killed and 3,535 injured, in addition to 800 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble.
The ministry added that the overall toll since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,223 Palestinians killed and 173,643 injured, underscoring the devastating human cost of the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
