Gaza Death Toll Since Ceasefire Rises to 1,045 as Four More Killed in 24 Hours

Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced on Monday that four Palestinians were killed and eight others injured over the past 24 hours as a result of ongoing Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip.

In its daily update, the ministry said a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble, while rescue and recovery operations continue to be hindered by dangerous conditions and limited resources, indicating that the actual death toll is likely to rise.

According to the ministry, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 has increased to 1,045, with 3,380 Palestinians injured. An additional 786 bodies have been recovered from areas previously inaccessible due to the destruction.

The ministry added that the cumulative toll since the outbreak of the genocide on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,058 Palestinians killed and 173,488 injured, underscoring the continuing humanitarian impact of the war and the mounting pressure on Gaza’s devastated healthcare system.
