Gaza Herald- Three Palestinians, including an 8-year-old child, were killed Monday in an Israeli airstrike on Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, as Israeli forces continued to report violations of the ceasefire through airstrikes, demolitions, and gunfire across the Gaza Strip.
A local source said the strike targeted the Al-Baraka area of Deir al-Balah early Monday morning, killing Malek Wael Abu Shawish (8), Ali Fayez Asbitan, and Hassan Salman Salman Al-Hanajra, while several others were injured.
Local sources also reported that Israeli forces carried out at least four demolition operations northeast of Khan Younis since dawn, accompanied by repeated gunfire east of the city.
Israeli forces also opened fire north of the Nuseirat and Al-Bureij refugee camps and near the Wadi Gaza Bridge.
Israeli military operations have continued despite the ceasefire, including air and artillery strikes targeting areas sheltering displaced civilians, demolition operations inside the so-called “Yellow Line,” and ongoing restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, has risen to 1,041, with 3,372 injured and 786 bodies recovered.
Since the war began on October 7, 2023, the ministry reports that 73,054 Palestinians have been killed and 173,480 wounded, underscoring the heavy human toll of the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
