Two Killed, One Injured by Israeli Fire East of Gaza

Gaza Herald – Two Palestinian brothers were killed, and a third was injured early Friday after Israeli occupation forces opened fire east of Gaza City amid ongoing ceasefire violations.

According to local sources, the victims, Mahmoud and Eid Abu Warda from Jabalia, were targeted while operating a water truck. Israeli forces reportedly struck a desalination point in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood as the three were heading to fill water, killing two and injuring the third.

Israeli artillery also shelled eastern areas of Khan Younis and Gaza City, while military vehicles opened fire at multiple locations across eastern and northern parts of the territory.

On Thursday evening, two more Palestinians were reported killed, including a child. In the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, child Saleh Badawi was shot dead, and others were injured. In Khan Younis, Mohsen Al-Dabbari (38) was killed after being shot in the southern part of the city.

Earlier, Rizq Al-Mallahi (33) died from wounds sustained in a previous Israeli strike targeting a police vehicle in Gaza City.

Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement through air and artillery strikes, particularly targeting areas where displaced civilians are sheltering, alongside ongoing demolition operations inside what is known as the “yellow line,” and continued restrictions on the movement of aid, goods, and civilians.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire began on October 10, 2025, has risen to 771, with 2,147 injuries and 760 bodies recovered.

The overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has reached approximately 72,360 fatalities and 172,250 injuries, highlighting the severe human cost of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
