Gaza Health Ministry Reports Death Toll Reaches 72,037

Gaza Herald – The Gaza Health Ministry said five Palestinians were killed and five others wounded over the past 24 hours as violence continued across the enclave.

Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025, the ministry recorded a total of 586 deaths and 1,558 injuries, alongside 717 bodies recovered.

Overall, Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza has killed 72,037 people and wounded 171,666 since the war began on October 7, 2023.

Many victims remained trapped under rubble or stranded in the streets, with emergency and civil defense teams unable to reach them due to the deteriorating security and infrastructure.

The figures highlighted the ongoing humanitarian crisis and the deadly impact of repeated attacks despite the nominal ceasefire.
