Israel Violates Gaza Ceasefire With Fresh Airstrikes, Demolitions, and Live Fire

Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued to violate the Gaza ceasefire for the 121st consecutive day, carrying out airstrikes, artillery shelling, building demolitions, and live fire across the besieged enclave, according to local reports.

In Gaza City, Israeli troops detonated and demolished structures in areas under their control in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city. Heavy artillery fire accompanied the operations, while powerful, repeated explosions were heard as booby-trapped robots and additional demolitions were carried out.

In southern Gaza, Israeli warplanes launched air raids targeting eastern areas of Khan Younis, amid sustained aerial surveillance over the southern part of the Strip. Ground forces also demolished residential buildings east of the city as part of the ongoing genocide.

Israeli naval vessels, meanwhile, opened fire in the coastal waters off Khan Younis, extending the scope of military activity to Gaza’s shoreline.

On Sunday alone, at least six Palestinians were killed as a result of Israeli air and artillery attacks, underscoring the fragility of the ceasefire. The broader war on Gaza has left more than 243,000 Palestinians killed or wounded, the majority of them women and children, alongside thousands missing, mass displacement, famine-related deaths, and widespread destruction across the territory.
