Israeli Strikes Kill 100 in Gaza, Drone Attack Targets “Safe Zone”

Gaza Herald – Israeli airstrikes and shelling across the Gaza Strip killed at least 100 Palestinians between midnight and late Tuesday afternoon, September 2, 2025, according to hospital reports. Women, children, and entire families are among the victims of the relentless bombardment.

In southern Gaza, an Israeli drone strike hit the al-Mawasi area near Khan Younis, a zone Israel designates as “safe” for displaced civilians, killing five children and injuring several others.

Hospitals across the enclave reported the following tolls: 35 at Al-Shifa Hospital, 33 at Nasser Hospital, 13 at Al-Ma’madani Hospital, 10 at Al-Awda Hospital, 5 at Sheikh Radwan Clinic, and 4 at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

Medical officials warned that the escalation is pushing Gaza’s already crippled health system to the brink of total collapse as hospitals struggle with soaring casualties and critical shortages.
