Gaza Herald – A Palestinian man has succumbed to his injuries sustained in earlier Israeli attacks, while another body was recovered in Khan Younis, amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
A local source confirmed the death of 35-year-old Hanoun Ismail Hanoun Barbach, who succumbed to injuries caused by a previous Israeli strike that targeted the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
In a separate development, the body of 27-year-old Abdul Rabbo Youssef Abu Masamih was recovered from near the Al-Happy City area, also in southern Khan Younis.
In central Gaza, seven Palestinians were injured when an Israeli drone struck a group of civilians near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, with one of the injured reported to be in critical condition.
A fisherman was also injured on Thursday after Israeli naval forces opened fire on him in the waters off Rafah in southern Gaza.
Israeli tanks continued firing toward eastern areas of the Gaza Strip, while drones intensified their flights across multiple regions.
Israeli occupation forces continue to breach the ceasefire agreement through airstrikes and artillery shelling, resulting in additional deaths and injuries.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the death toll since the ceasefire began has risen to 823, while total injuries have reached 2,308, with 763 bodies recovered so far.
Since October 7, 2023, the overall death toll has reached 72,599, with 172,411 injuries, while many victims remain trapped under rubble or in streets, as emergency crews remain unable to reach them.
