Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Thursday through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and naval fire, resulting in further casualties and injuries among civilians.
According to field reports, an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of Palestinians near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, leaving several injured. In a separate incident, a Palestinian fisherman was injured after Israeli naval forces opened fire on him off the coast of Rafah in southern Gaza.
Israeli tanks also fired toward eastern areas of the Gaza Strip, while surveillance drones were reported flying intensively over multiple parts of the territory.
The Gaza Ministry of Health stated that the number of fatalities since the announcement of the ceasefire has risen to 823, while total injuries have reached 2,308, in addition to 763 recovered bodies.
Since the beginning of the genocide on October 7, 2023, the cumulative death toll has reached 72,599, with 172,411 injuries recorded. Authorities also noted that several victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, as emergency teams are still unable to reach affected areas.
