Five Freed Palestinian Prisoners Arrive at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah

Gaza Herald – Five recently released Palestinian prisoners arrived today at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, following their return from Israeli detention amid ongoing genocide-related violations.

The released detainees are: Jihad Ahmed Abbas Abu Warda (Jabalia al-Nazla), Mohammed Ahmed Fouad Muharram (Gaza, al-Sabra), Louay Suleiman Mohammed Dakka (Jabalia al-Nazla), Mahmoud Mohammed Ahmed Baraka (New Abasan), and Mohammed Atta Rashad Asleeh (Khan Younis).

Their arrival comes as Israel continues to hold and abuse hundreds of Palestinians, including many taken during the genocide, with widespread reports of torture, forced disappearance, and inhumane conditions.

Gaza officials say the release of a small group of detainees does not mask the ongoing crimes against prisoners, nor the urgent need to uncover the fate of those still held by the occupation.
