71,000 Tons of Unexploded Bombs Amid Genocide Aftermath

Gaza Herald – The Gaza Civil Defense has issued an urgent warning over what it described as a “citywide death trap,” revealing that 71,000 tons of unexploded Israeli bombs remain scattered across Gaza’s streets following the ongoing genocide.

Spokesman Mahmoud Basal said that every neighborhood in Gaza is littered with live explosives that threaten the lives of civilians, adding that specialized international teams are urgently needed to clear the deadly remnants of war.

Basal also reported that Gaza is now buried under 60 million tons of rubble, a direct result of Israel’s months-long campaign of destruction, which has left entire districts reduced to ruins and continues to endanger survivors returning to their homes.
