Gaza Herald – Gaza’s health authorities confirmed the death of 13 children today alone, including 10 unborn babies miscarried by their mothers and three premature infants who perished inside incubators.
Doctors say the mothers, many displaced from Gaza City to the south under relentless bombardment, endured starvation, lack of medical supplements, and extreme trauma that forced their pregnancies to end. With no medicine, no nutrition, and no safe refuge, their babies never had a chance at life.
The three newborns who died in incubators underscore the collapse of Gaza’s health system, a collapse engineered by Israel’s siege and bombardment. With electricity deliberately cut, fuel blockaded, and hospitals systematically destroyed, survival has been made impossible for the most vulnerable.
