Two More Palestinians Starved to Death in Israel’s Starvation War on Gaza

GazaHerald – The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Thursday that two more Palestinians have died from famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll from hunger to 271, including 112 children.

The ministry warned that the humanitarian catastrophe is deepening as Israel’s blockade continues to choke off food and medical supplies. It urged the international community and relief organizations to act swiftly to prevent further loss of life.

According to the Gaza government media office, only 250 aid trucks entered the Strip over the past three days, far short of the 1,800 expected. Over the past 25 days, just 2,187 trucks have arrived, representing less than 15% of actual needs.

UNRWA Commissioner Philippe Lazzarini revealed that child malnutrition in Gaza has tripled since the war began. The World Food Programme (WFP) also warned that families in the Strip are “not just facing hunger, but starvation.”

Jonathan Fowler, UNRWA’s Director of Communications, stressed that the years-long blockade has left Palestinians dangerously vulnerable, with life expectancy now in decline.

He emphasized that the ongoing deaths from famine are not the result of natural disaster but of deliberate political decisions aimed at depriving Palestinians of food and essential supplies.

Fowler noted that more than 100 children have already died of malnutrition, while some 13,000 children under the age of five are suffering, describing the situation as a “massive humanitarian crisis” that little is being done to address.
