54 Palestinians Missing Near Joint Israeli-American Aid Sites in Gaza

Gaza Herald– The Addameer Human Rights Association has raised serious concerns after reporting that 54 Palestinians have gone missing in Gaza near aid distribution sites operated under Israeli-American coordination. The group says the disappearances occurred as civilians approached these centers in search of humanitarian assistance.

In a statement issued Monday, Addameer accused Israeli occupation forces (IOF) of withholding information regarding the fate of those who vanished and of obstructing efforts to retrieve bodies from areas surrounding the aid points. The organization cautioned that the lack of secure and transparent aid delivery mechanisms continues to endanger civilians and may result in further disappearances.

“We’ve documented multiple arrests of individuals attempting to access aid, including minors,” Addameer reported. “In many instances, the bodies of the dead have been left near these sites, and the IOF has bulldozed some without proper identification or retrieval.”

The humanitarian toll continues to mount. Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced that within the past 24 hours alone, 65 Palestinians were killed and 511 others wounded while trying to receive aid. These figures bring the total number of Palestinians killed in such attempts to 1,487, with more than 10,578 reported injured.

The continued targeting and disappearance of Palestinians near aid centers underscores the deepening humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and raises urgent questions about the intent and transparency of current aid operations. Human rights organizations are calling for independent investigations and the immediate establishment of protected humanitarian corridors, warning that without accountability and safe access to relief, the crisis will only grow more deadly.
