Gaza Herald- At least seven Palestinians were killed and more than 15 others wounded early Wednesday after an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential apartment in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood in southwestern Gaza City, according to medical sources.
The attack occurred in the pre-dawn hours, causing widespread destruction to a residential building. Local witnesses reported hearing powerful explosions as rescue teams rushed to pull victims from beneath the rubble, despite severe shortages in emergency equipment and medical supplies.
Hospitals in Gaza have warned that the death toll may rise, as several of the wounded remain in critical condition. The targeted area is known to be densely populated and home to many displaced families who had fled earlier bombardments in central and southern parts of the Strip.
This latest strike comes amid a renewed wave of Israeli attacks across Gaza, intensifying an already dire humanitarian crisis. Health officials say the overwhelmed medical system is on the verge of collapse, while aid agencies continue to report severe shortages of food, fuel, and medical resources.
The Gaza Herald has learned that more than 130 Palestinians have been killed in the past 72 hours alone, many of them while waiting in line for humanitarian assistance. As airstrikes continue to target civilian homes and shelters, concerns are mounting that the crisis is spiraling further out of control with little international intervention.
