Gaza Herald – Several Palestinians, including a woman and a child, were injured Monday as Israeli forces shelled and opened fire on displacement tents and residential areas across the Gaza Strip.
A WAFA correspondent reported that three Palestinians were wounded by Israeli military vehicles in and around Hamad City, north of Khan Younis.
Two others were injured when Israeli artillery struck tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the al-Akharis area of al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis.
In central Gaza, a woman and a child were wounded when Israeli military vehicles opened fire toward displacement tents along Salah al-Din Street between the Bureij and Maghazi refugee camps.
Additional Palestinians were injured after an Israeli artillery shell struck the Abu Russ family home in Block 12, east of Bureij refugee camp, setting the house on fire.
Israeli forces also carried out heavy artillery shelling east of Bureij and in eastern and southern Khan Younis, accompanied by intense gunfire near tents sheltering displaced families.
Further south, Israeli tanks opened heavy fire in the Shakoush area north of Rafah, including near tents sheltering displaced Palestinians, while low-flying Israeli drones were reported across southern Gaza.
In Gaza City, Israeli artillery also shelled northern areas as drones flew overhead.
The attacks came amid continued Israeli military operations across the Gaza Strip, with displaced Palestinians among those injured by artillery fire and gunfire.
