Gaza Herald –Israeli occupation forces raided several towns and villages across the Jenin governorate early Saturday, injuring two Palestinians and detaining six others.
Medical sources said a 68-year-old Palestinian man suffered bruises to his back and chest during an Israeli raid on Marka village, south of Jenin.
A 14-year-old boy also suffered a fracture to his right hand during the raid. Both were taken to the Arraba emergency center for treatment after local medical crews evacuated them from the area.
In Deir Abu Daif, east of Jenin, Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Khaled Yassin after raiding and searching his home.
Israeli forces also stormed Faqqua village, where they detained four Palestinians: former prisoners Nabil Salah and Harith Masad, along with Bashir Masad and Bilal Zahdi Muhammad Omriya. Soldiers also searched and ransacked homes during the raid.
Additional Israeli incursions were reported in Jabal Abu Dhahir and Silat al-Harithiya, where forces raided several homes, including those belonging to families of former Palestinian prisoners.
West of Jenin, Israeli forces raided Zububa village and searched a home, while Fadi al-Hindi was detained during another raid in the governorate.
The raids come amid continued Israeli military incursions, arrests and restrictions on Palestinian movement across the Jenin governorate and the wider occupied West Bank.
