Gaza Herald — Israeli forces continued to violate the Gaza ceasefire for the 321st consecutive day, with attacks reported across different parts of the Strip amid the ongoing blockade and worsening conditions for displaced Palestinians.
Over the past 24 hours, 30 new ceasefire violations were recorded, including gunfire from military vehicles and naval vessels, artillery shelling, airstrikes and the demolition of residential buildings. Several attacks also struck shelters and tents housing displaced families in Rafah, Khan Younis and Gaza City.
Bloody Attacks across Gaza
Heavy fire was reported in northeastern Khan Younis from Israeli helicopters and military vehicles, while Israeli helicopters carried out attacks over Rafah.
Israeli military vehicles also opened sustained fire toward eastern areas of Khan Younis.
Tanks fired heavily toward areas east of Gaza City and eastern Khan Younis, while Israeli artillery shelled the northern areas of Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza with several rounds.
The attacks have further deepened the insecurity faced by Palestinians who have been repeatedly displaced and are now living in overcrowded shelters and makeshift tents.
Israeli Ceasefire Violations Growing
The latest attacks come despite US President Donald Trump’s announcement on July 31, 2026, of a new agreement to begin the second phase of the proposed roadmap.
Israel, however, continues to face calls to implement its commitments under the first phase of the ceasefire and move toward the second phase.
The ceasefire agreement was signed on October 10, 2025, in Egypt’s Sharm El-Sheikh, with Arab and US mediation.
Since then, violations have continued alongside the restrictions imposed on the movement of people and the entry of essential supplies into Gaza.
Humanitarian Conditions Worsen
For displaced Palestinians, the continued attacks come on top of an already severe humanitarian crisis.
Families living in tents and temporary shelters face repeated displacement, limited access to essential services and growing insecurity as attacks continue to affect areas where civilians have sought refuge.
With the ceasefire repeatedly breached and the blockade still restricting basic supplies, Gaza’s displaced population remains caught between ongoing military attacks and deteriorating living conditions.
